Digital PSAT Back to School Weekend

About the Event:
As junior year begins, Compass invites students at our Chicagoland partner schools to try out a digital, adaptive PSAT practice test. This opportunity will help students in the Class of 2025 adjust to the redesigned PSAT and SAT – the biggest change to the exam in a century – before they take the official Digital PSAT in October 2023 and the Digital SAT in Spring 2024.
After completing the exam, you will receive a detailed, interactive score report that includes time spent per question, trap answer analysis, performance relative to similar scorers, and whether you were routed to the easier or harder modules. You will also retain access to the exam questions for 90 days. (Note that the official Digital PSAT and SAT will not return module-routing feedback or exam questions to students; as a learning tool, we advise students use practice tests instead of official exams.)

Remotely, at-home, or proctored in-person at either the Northern Suburbs or Western Suburbs site below. In-person proctoring space is limited. RSVPs are first come, first served.

Our tour of the Online Testing Center steps you through each feature and tool, giving you a preview of the testing experience and a guided opportunity to practice using those tools. Tools include:
- Highlighter—highlight passages and questions
- Answer Eliminator—streamline process of elimination
- Question Flagging—mark questions for review at the section or after results are in
- Timer—hide or show the time remaining to keep on pace
Upon entering the Compass Online Testing Center, students are given the opportunity to take this same tour. We strongly encourage all students to take advantage of its instruction, particularly if it is their first time taking a digital practice test with Compass, so they can utilize all of the testing tools.
Note: The demo must be accessed through Safari, Chrome, or Firefox on a laptop, desktop, or tablet. Mobile phones are not supported.
