Take a Practice Test
Compass is pleased to offer Next Step Advising’s clients complimentary initial SAT and ACT diagnostic tests (normally $50 each) to help them select the best test and forge a test prep path. The scheduling tool below gets you access to priority registration for these valuable practice test opportunities. Registering here will also ensure Next Step Advising is copied on your score reports as we work with you to develop your test prep plan.
If you would like to sign up for our new digital adaptive test, please reach out to your Compass Director, Dulcie Head (dulcie@compassprep.com). This new test mimics the College Board computer-based test — question type, content, timing, duration, and adaptive structure — so students will get an early feel for what’s to come in fall 2023.
We offer a variety of testing options to best suit your needs, including:
- In-person proctoring at one of our testing centers
- Online proctoring through Zoom
- Digital proctoring via Compass’s Online Testing Center
- Self-proctoring using our pre-recorded testing videos (no registration required, please contact us to set-up this option)

You will receive a complimentary consultation once diagnostic testing is complete. Your Compass director will review the results of the test and guide families through the score report. Our sophisticated score reports contain in-depth analytics and serve as powerful tools to help fine-tune student performance. Some of the interactive features include:
