Compass Education Group is a leading provider of tutoring for college admission tests. AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School has partnered with Compass to offer a number of helpful resources to families.
On Saturday, January 20th at 9:00AM, 10th and 11th grade parents are asked to attend an on-campus presentation by Managing Director, Sara Dalhed, to learn more about the landscape of college admission testing, build personalized testing timelines, and understand how test preparation works.
On Saturday, January 20th, students will take a practice ACT at AGBU, which will be graded and accompanied by a robust score report. With scores in-hand — and guidance from AGBU counselors and Compass’ directors — students will be able to determine which exam is a better fit, SAT or ACT.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Efficient and successful test prep relies on accurate diagnoses. Our practice tests provide a detailed portrait of your testing strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to make recommendations and adjustments tailored to your personal needs.
After a thorough assessment of testing data, background, needs, and goals, we develop an individualized plan. Because we do not offer “packages” of lessons, we have the flexibility to craft personalized programs of study that take these nuances into account.
We hold all our instructors to the same high standards, but that doesn’t mean they’re all the same. Your schedule, your learning style, even your outside interests – we consider all these factors in selecting the best instructor for you.
Once lessons begin, our instructors and directors work together to monitor your progress and make adjustments until you achieve your score goals. We are never on auto-pilot, and our continued oversight drives the success of our programs.
