Avenues Testing Programs

PRESENTED BY COMPASS EDUCATION GROUP

Welcome, Avenues Families!

Compass Education Group is one of New York’s leading provider of tutoring for college admission tests. Avenues families partner with Compass each year to provide a comprehensive test prep program for 11th graders. As part of this partnership, Avenues will offer up to 12 hours of private one-on-one online tutoring at a 50% reduced rate. In-home tutoring is also available for an additional fee.

On Thursday, October 3rd, students will take a practice ACT at Avenues: The World School, which will be graded and accompanied by a robust score report.

On October 7th, parents are invited to attend an on-campus presentation by Compass founder Adam Ingersoll to learn more about the landscape of college admission testing, build personalized testing timelines, and understand how test preparation works.

Compass has been an invaluable resource for us for over a decade. Their approach to testing is smart and reasonable. The programs they provide for our families are of the highest quality.

Laura Hotchkiss, Director of Upper SchoolMarlborough School

Compass is in a class of its own. They help us keep student health and wellness at the center of our program. I am flooded with overtures from test prep companies, but I always come back to the team at Compass.

Practice Tests

Avenues: The World School will administer a FREE diagnostic test for the ACT to students in the 10th and 11th grades on Thurday, October 3. This will be an ideal opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the types of questions and material being presented on the ACT as they begin to develop future standardized testing plans.

"Thank you so much for working with Holly
on the ACT. We are very proud of her scores
and know they were due, in part, to the diligent
work of her tutors. She achieved a final composite
score of 34 with the biggest increase in Science I
have ever heard - 25 to a 34!"

12th Grader at Flintridge Prep
