  • How to respond to the flexibility afforded by test-optional policies
  • Best way to approach the SAT vs ACT decision
  • Understanding the new digital, adaptive PSAT and SAT
  • Debunking the most pervasive myths about testing
  • Finding the optimal timeline for your testing and test prep
  • Scope of test prep and expectations for improvement

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dulcie graduated with BAs in Physics and Geology from Pomona College and her PhD in Geophysics from Stanford. Dulcie started at Compass as a tutor and now uses her experience to help students and families navigate the admissions testing landscape in her role as senior director. In her spare time, Dulcie likes to read all sorts of fantasy and play with her two badly behaved cats.
Each year, Dulcie and her colleagues speak at over 300 high schools and professional organizations, where they demystify the SAT and ACT and dispel anxiety about the testing process.

Practice Test Opportunities

Compass is proud to offer high-quality digital practice test opportunities at no cost for a limited time for families who attend a webinar hosted by their school. The accuracy of the tests and the depth of the reporting is exceptional.

Tests available include the new digital adaptive PSAT and SAT (learn more here), as well as a digital version of the ACT (linear and non-adaptive, see demo here).

ACCESS, REPORTING, AND FOLLOW-UP

  • To access the tests through your Compass account, please go to my.compassprep.com and enter your email address. You will receive an email to activate your account. Click the link in that email and follow the instructions.
  • Upon completion of the test, you will immediately be able to view a comprehensive analysis full of insights unique to our reporting platform, as well as access to view your entire test.
  • Schedule a free, no obligation consultation with a Compass Director to evaluate the results, have all your questions answered, and discuss a recommended plan for improvement.
  • For alternative options including live proctoring where available, please see here.
