Sign up for Practice Tests

Compass will administer IN-PERSON, ON-CAMPUS proctored ACT and SAT practice tests for Marin Academy students in the 11th grade, as well as an AT-HOME digital practice SAT. The test results are invaluable in helping students craft their ideal testing and tutoring plan. Please see below for registration details.

LOCATION

Marin Academy campus
The in-person testing location will be emailed to you the week of the test.

Online, at-home via the Compass Online Testing Center

NOTE: The following accommodations will be offered on the two paper-based practice tests for students who have had them approved by MA:

– 50% Extended Time
– Calculator (SAT only, ACT is always permitted)*
– Circle in Booklet*

The Learning Services team will be informing Compass which students are approved for the above accommodations. If you have accommodations that are different than what is listed, please reach out to Compass directly at tests@compassprep.com and they may be able to assist with alternative options.

*Please note that while extended time will be offered for the digital tests, the other accommodations aren’t necessary because everyone can use a calculator, and there is no booklet.
