Sign up for Practice Tests!

New Community Regional Independent School (NCRIS) has partnered with Compass Education Group to administer FREE paper/pencil ACT and SAT practice tests. The test results are invaluable in helping the NCRIS Counselors and Compass directors craft the ideal testing and tutoring plan for each student. The paper/pencil ACT registration deadline is every Thursday. On Friday, we will send you a detailed confirmation email with links to print a test/answer sheets, timing instructions, and a proctoring video.

In addition, NCRIS has partnered with Compass Education Group to offer a FREE Digital Adaptive PSAT. This test mimics the computer-based test — question type, content, timing, duration, and adaptive structure — so students will get an early feel for what’s to come in fall 2023. The registration deadline each week is Thursday. On Friday, we will send you a detailed confirmation email for the remaining test window time; the link to take the test will be included; you can take the test anytime until June 30th.

DATE & TIME

All practice test options are available anytime between January 1st through June 30th.
