This presentation is hosted by the college counseling office and attendance is highly recommended. The information that will be shared is educational and the event is not a solicitation for the presenter’s services.  Please join other Thacher families for a thoughtful and pragmatic discussion of college admission testing that will be useful to students and parents alike.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Matty is a Senior Director at Compass Education Group, a provider of one-on-one online test preparation and tutoring that works with thousands of students nationwide. Prior to joining Compass, Matty obtained their MA from the University of Chicago and a BA from UC Santa Cruz. They have over thirteen years of experience in the testing industry and are regularly invited by counseling and admission professionals to explain the latest updates to the testing landscape. Each year, Matty and their colleagues speak at over 300 high schools and professional organizations.

ACCESS, REPORTING, AND FOLLOW-UP

  • To access the tests through your Compass account, please go to my.compassprep.com and enter your email address. You will receive an email to activate your account. Click the link in that email and follow the instructions.
  • Upon completion of the test, you will immediately be able to view a comprehensive analysis full of insights unique to our reporting platform, as well as access to view your entire test.
  • Schedule a free, no obligation consultation with a Compass Director to evaluate the results, have all your questions answered, and discuss a recommended plan for improvement.

Please note that your school may have arranged specific practice testing opportunities at a set time through Compass or another third party. We advise that you prioritize any such opportunities through your school first, keeping the above options available if needed.
