ABOUT

Last spring, College Board announced a sweeping overhaul to the SAT suite of assessments. Starting in the fall of 2023, paper-based administrations of the PSAT and SAT will be completely replaced by an adaptive, computer-based format. The Class of 2025 will be the first to take the redesigned Digital PSAT and Digital SAT during junior year. WTHS sophomore families are invited to join the experts at Compass Education Group for a discussion on navigating the forthcoming Digital PSAT and SAT.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Eric Anderson (he/him) — Director Compass Chicago
Eric grew up in the Western Suburbs and graduated from the University of Illinois, where he was U of I’s first Rhodes Scholarship campus nominee in nearly a decade. After college, while working on film and TV projects for the Discovery Channel, MTV Networks, and YouTube, Eric joined Compass’s Southern California team as a math tutor. He enjoyed the one-on-one tutoring experience so much that he made it his mission to bring Compass into the Midwest. Now, as a Director of Compass Chicago, Eric hires, trains, and mentors a team of several dozen local tutors.
Langston Mckinzie (he/him) — Director Compass Chicago
Langston graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master of Education in Education Policy and Organizational Leadership.  He began at Compass working 1-on-1 with students as a tutor before joining the full-time team as a director.  Now, Langston draws on years of academic leadership and testing expertise to guide hundreds of families from dozens of Midwestern schools through the college admissions testing landscape.
