The Summer Bridge Math Program is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their math skills and get ahead at the start of the school year, helping students build the confidence they need to succeed in difficult math classes.Â
Who it is for: Compass is offering Summer Bridge Math for students entering Algebra II or Precalculus. When registering, please select the math level the student will be entering this fall. Classes are limited to 15 students.
How it works: The Summer Bridge Math Program is an intensive eight-hour course designed to provide students with a head start in Algebra II or Precalculus. The program consists of four two-hour sessions that focus on reinforcing the math concepts learned in the previous year, and drawing connections to new math concepts that students will encounter in the upcoming school year.
Don’t start out behind: Sessions are taught by Compass’ most experienced math instructors who use engaging, interactive discussion to keep students motivated. The course is particularly beneficial to students who may not have engaged with math curriculum during the summer months.
