All units are covered.
How are practice tests proctored and graded?
Practice tests are offered on the Compass online testing center and can be taken at your convenience. We strongly recommend that you plan to take each practice test in one sitting.
FRQ responses are either typed directly into a compose window in the testing interface or hand-written on blank paper for hybrid tests (Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, and Statistics). After the completion of a hybrid test, students are prompted to use their phone to photograph and save their work to the test. The upload process will not deduct from the allotted time.
Multiple choice sections are graded instantly and available in the student’s account at my.compassprep.com. Grading of FRQs generally takes 1 week. Students receive a notification email when score reports are complete.
Score reports include an estimated 1-5 scaled score as well as detailed Free Response Question scoring and feedback from our expert readers.
*Please note that the Winter Checkpoint assessment does not include an estimated 1-5 scaled score.*
