ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Jon Lee
SENIOR DIRECTOR
Jon is the Senior Director of Outreach and Partnerships for Compass Education Group. He graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles, where he also earned a Master of Music degree and taught undergraduate classes. Since 2002, Jon has helped thousands of families navigate the path to college. In his current role with Compass, he hosts in-person and online presentations on college admission testing for schools across the country.
Sophomores: Sign up for a Digital SAT or ACT!
Marin Academy and Compass Education have partnered to offer a Digital Adaptive SAT practice test at no cost. This test (learn all about it here) mimics the computer-based test — question type, content, timing, duration, and adaptive structure.
We have also partnered to offer an at-home, computer-proctored ACT practice test at no cost. This test matches the current paper/pencil, linear version of the test. It is also the classic ACT format: the science test is required and included in the Composite score.
The test results are invaluable in helping Marin Academy College Counselors and Compass directors craft the ideal testing and tutoring plan for each student.
These testing events are for the class of 2027
DATE & TIME
- At-Home Digital SAT (available anytime Saturday, March 22nd through Sunday, March 3rd)
- At-Home Digital ACT (available anytime Saturday, April 26th, through Sunday, April 27th)
REGISTRATION DEADLINES
SAT: Thursday March 20th at 9PM
ACT: Thursday April 24th at 9PM
Late registration requests will not be accepted
Marin Academy Learning Services will provide Compass with the list of student accommodations. If you have questions about your testing accommodations, please contact your school.
